CLARITY CD-ROM SPECS

The following are the recommended computer requirements to run Clarity CD-ROM courses and Administrator programs. However, it is possible to run the programs on a lesser computer:

  • Pentium 233 processor
  • 64 MB RAM
  • 32X CD-ROM Drive
  • 150 MB of free disk space (for recording statistics, this space will hold a lot of statistics)
  • Sound Card (or built in sound capability) and speakers or headphones
  • Color VGA Monitor capable of supporting 16-bit high color in 800x600 resolution
  • Mouse
  • Microsoft® Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP

For our Clarity CD-ROM SQL Administrator you'll need the following server configuration:
  • Hardware - Pentium III 500 processor, 512 MB Ram, 20 Gig SCSI drive.
  • Software - Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server. SQL 7 or greater.
Note: The installation computer must be able to connect to the SQL Server using a TCP/IP connection. A minimum of a 56KB connection is required. IIS 5.0 and IE 5.0 or greater are required for browser-based administration of the CD-ROM courseware. The ClarityNet Administrator must also be loaded to the IIS server.
